A Productive Night Routine You’re Going To Love!
A night routine is a time for you to prepare for the next day, work on yourself, and relax!
Bad evening habits can lead to a productivity buzzkill the next day. Having a positive relaxing night routine can lead to a better day tomorrow. Starting a productive night routine will make you feel organized, well rested and ready to tackle the day ahead.

This post is all about the ultimate night routine you must try!
Get ready for tomorrow
There’s nothing worse than rushing around in the morning because you’re trying to find something to wear, waiting for the coffee to brew, forgetting to feed the cats, etc.
If you prepare everything the night before you will have less tasks to do in the morning. Pick out and lay out your outfit for the next day, have the coffee machine filled and set up to brew, and get the cat food bowls ready to go.
This way you won’t be late to work, stressed, and running around.
Exercise
I know you’re probably thinking, I just spent all day at work, I’m tired and mentally drained. However, working out has so many benefits not just for your physical appearance but for your mental health too! It gives you more energy and releases endorphins.
We spend so much of our lives sedentary sitting at a desk for 8 hours every single day. We need to move our bodies to stay healthy. If you aren’t able to get a workout in first thing in the morning, aim for some sort of movement during your night routine.
Exercising doesn’t mean high intensity workout, anything where you’re moving your body will help! Go for a walk or grab a yoga mat and just get a little movement in.
Clean up
Cleaning up your apartment each night is much better than letting everything pile up until the weekend. Take 20 minutes every night and tidy up your space.
Whether it’s tackling those dirty dishes in the sink, or putting away your clean clothes. Making this a habit right before you head to bed is so beneficial.
Self Care
Make it a habit to spend time at night taking care of your body. This should be your unready routine. Create a skincare routine for yourself to do every night. I love my nighttime skincare routine because I feel like it really helps me wind down for the night and get ready to relax before bed.
Self care isn’t only skin! It can be a mani-pedi, hair mask, bubble bath, face mask or whatever it may be. Take time to take care of yourself!
A consistent bedtime
It is so important to go to bed at the same time every night. There are many benefits that go along with having a consistent bedtime. Make it a habit to go to bed every night at the same time. It doesn’t have to be exactly when the clock strikes 10, but don’t go to bed one night at 10 then the next at 12. Having a consistent sleep cycle will give you more energy and ready to tackle the next day.
Not only should you go to bed at the same time every night, but you want to get enough sleep every night. Stop sitting on social media until 2AM and then having to wake up at 6AM the night morning for work. You should aim to get at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep each night.
Stimulate your mind
Reading is a great way to stimulate your mind! I find that reading at night is the ultimate relaxation. Grab your favorite book and get cozy. Not only do you need to exercise your body, you have to exercise your mind as well. Reading before bed is way better than scrolling through your phone before your head hits the pillow.
My favorite books to read are all about personal development. They help me become a better person and how I can grow into a better me.
If reading a book isn’t your cup of tea, listen to a podcast or write in a journal. Here is an amazing self care journal.
This post was all about an amazing night routine.
