Dressing for casual ice skating isn’t too hard, but it can be tricky to know what to wear. After all, if you are heading out on a winter date to the ice rink you still want to look cute!
If you’re like us, you love ice skating—but not so much that you want to wear a full-on ski outfit. I’ve got the perfect list of super cute and casual outfit ideas to go ice skating!
Here are some important tips to remember when deciding what to wear:
- First off, it is going to be cold! I suggest to wear layers because you can always take some pieces off but you cannot add pieces on.
- Wear something that you feel your best in but is also comfortable. Ice skating is an active activity where you will be moving a ton so you do not want to wear something too tight or uncomfortable.
- This is more so if you are skating outside to definitely wear a hat, gloves, and scarf to keep yourself warm. Sometimes inside ice skating rinks you do not necessarily need these items.
- Wear thick, high socks! Ice skates will definitely hurt your feet and give you blisters if you are not wearing thick enough socks to protect your skin!
